Developments



Hides, enjoys the sun, and flies long distances. Hides in times of despair, Shelter in rain. Collects information. Colourful feminine bird. Long legs to balance to be able to scan landscapes. Likes high places but goes to the ground to forage for seeds or eat plants. Long claws to get grip on branches.
Has a long neck to reach food high up.
Parrot- short curved beak to break hard seeds.


Scaled, but fairly smooth, skin around the toes and lower legs
-Such skin leaves no crevices where parasites or germs could collect.

Long, skinny legs are useful for standing in water without getting body feathers wet, and also for balancing a long skinny neck when a bird is in flight

Long sharp claws for perching in trees.
